Their passion to learn, my interest to teach.

I love to educate them in the way I want. I’m loving it day after day.

This is one great investment! I’ve played with my ex students in the past knowing that it’s such a great play activities for kids. Therefore I bought it!

This play area is known as ‘The city’. Located at Liang Court. Was a play area recommended by a Mummy friend, Shirley.

Yes, I feel that it’s a great place for children to role play different occupations despite the limited of space.

The children has lotsa fun though no doubt I’m getting a bit bored after a while.

They love the cooking counter and supermarket the most and has spend the most time there then.

The smiley daughter.

The all time favorite, that’s to snap as many pics as possible! Perhaps I should just ‘reopen’ my multiply account once again for the storage.

My blog account is running out of space currently unless we get one which gives us unlimited upload of blog entries. Hmm..

The kids enjoyed taking pics as we do.

I’m 33 this yr. Time flies pretty fast without knowing it. It been 10yrs ever since I first met Dear when I’m 23yrs old. Now I’m already 33 and is already a mother of 3.5 and 1.5yrs children.

This yr, they are big enough to celebrate and sing Birthday song for me. Especially Ayden who could clap hands with all his actions and smile. Of course, Adelle is even more old enough to know what is going on around her.

I’m happy, really happy on this special day where Adelle drew me a card telling me that I’m 4yrs old like her. She said she drew it when I’m having my shower while Daddy asked her to do it quickly as I’m coming out from my bath. It’s so sweet and cute.

Ayden shows me his LOL actions on my Birthday, he hold the small speaker and placed on his ear and says ‘hmm, ar,, hmm, ar..’ its seem as though he is on the phone with someone! Cuteness!!

We have a mini celebration at home for cake cutting before proceeding to Straits Cafe at Rendezvous for the dinner. It’s a great 33rd party!

Happy family. Each time I feel unhappy about anything, when I look at my family, the sadness is gone and the joy comes back again. That’s how amazing one can be.

My little Adelle is potty trained, finally!

image

image

image

image

Adelle is finally potty trained at 3.5yrs old! All right, it’s a long wait and she often refused to wear panties, go to the toilet and only wanna wear diaper, kept saying she wants to wear diaper! Almost her peers already are potty train. I should have trained her earlier, but well, she can do it now anyway, it’s a matter of time. I remember this, once a child is ready, she will be.

Now we can really save cost on diaper, just that during the night, she still need to be on diaper, I’ve told her that one day, I will train her to be diaper-less at night, and she agreed.

Actually children can be potty train as early as 8mths old. Perhaps I should try to train Ayden since Adelle is already potty trained, I can concentrate more on Ayden.

Now, yesterday she did her very 1st  poo poo in the toilet! Yes, the first time she did it! She told me, Mummy I want to poo poo, and there she goes. She is very very happy that she did it.

My little Ayden.

A timid boy by nature, a soft hearted yet slight active boy as well.
Ayden is not as playful and active for this age which I’ve seen those who are very active and rough. Perhaps he is gentle by nature. I would not say for the future but currently at this age, he is not.

This is a gd sign. But the only thing about him was that, he loves to climb up the table at times. Perhaps, he is born in the year of a rabbit plus he is a boy that explains why.

For eg, when he sees that I’ve pasted a plaster on my arm, I showed him a painful expression, guess what, he cried the moment I did that! Isn’t he soft hearted by nature??!!

For a boy, he should be stern and firm, but he wasn’t. Perhaps babies born in Rabbit year are like that?

That’s him!

I’m pretty happy with the slight achievement Ayden had. He knows a couple of words and things he sees. The only thing was that he is unable to pronoun the word well, but I can roughly know what he is trying to tell me by pointing on the things or pictures he sees.
That’s one gd thing. He knows how to say out some of the things which I’ve taught him before, this is one thing I know my effort had paid off.

He gonna turn 18mths soon in another 1week+ time, how time goes by so quickly!

The growing up process

Let me just do a simple update for Adelle and Ayden.

Adelle chats so much with me lately and she speaks like an adult which I somehow laugh together with her. She laughs too!

She have always tell me what she did in school each time I asked her.
Nevertheless, she will always comes into the kitchen while I’m cooking and ask me this ” Mummy, what I can do now? ”
I can see that she is kinda bored yet she needs me to finish preparing dinner before I could do any activities with them. Lately I try to prepare dinner as early as 330pm,just a few min before both of them wake up from their afternoon nap.

I just love the way she sounds, she seems so much grown up and speaks like how adults do. I’ve somehow enjoyed our daily conversation with her. For once, im not bored at home whereby I can chit chat with her.

As for Ayden, he is growing up to understand better. Each time I’m mopping the floor, he will sit on the sofa automatically when I asked him to. He knows I’m coming with a cloth to clean the floor.

And yes,, finally he is able to sleep through just 1.5weeks ago. And that’s when he is 17mths old!! It’s such a long wait but I’m glad that he can finally do it.

Perhaps because he feel secured when I place him next to Adelle while sleeping at night, he knows he is with her and didn’t make noise when he sees Adelle is just next to him.

Even for afternoon nap. He will always cry when he didn’t see me and that’s when he is sleeping in the playpen, but now, he will lie down and ‘nua’ on the mattress for that 20-30mins while waiting for me to get into the room.

At 17mths plus, each time I tested him on the stuff I’ve taught him before, he knows! He can say out the words although not in a very accurate tone, but I know he is telling me what I’ve asked. And I know my effort has paid off with him knowing quite a bit of things that I’ve taught him.

I can see that both of them understand so many things now. I’m glad.

The newly made teaching aids for Ayden.

New homemade teaching aids for the children. About Weather.

The kiasu Daddy stocked up so many cans of milk powder for our two milk lovers. Adelle takes in 3cans in a mth while Ayden takes 3.5 cans. So this is the reason why we don’t have to keep going to get milk powder or worried that the stock is low.

image

Adelle drew this for me and said Mummy this is for you because your Birthday is coming! I’m so touched.

image

She tries to follow what I’ve drew and this is how it turns out to be.

image

No tracing on dotted lines before, she just want to learn how to write using free hands. Here it goes.

Chance upon this book at Change Alley bookstore. Is a great book for Adelle to learn Chinese words.

Got these travel medicine package for the kids from their PD.

Adelle drew this and said it’s a cow and it’s her favorite animal.
