Playing boardgames together is so much fun!
Art and craft time!
This time the children are painting on the aluminum foil.
We decided to use these colorful beads and cutters to play around with it.
The children played for quite a long period of time.
Some activities which the children did with me during this school holidays.
Play base learning with Adelle. 🙂
Play base learning with little Ayden.
Did most of the reinforcement activities with him once again.
Hopefully he will understand better this way. 🙂
Here we are, at Junction 8 to catch the show, My little pony. Just before the show starts, the children had a meal first.
While waiting for the show to get started, the children do some writing n drawing.
This is especially good for children while waiting.
Oh my, these four ponies here are so cute, isn’t it??!
Truly happy kids after the pony show.
Now, Adelle hopes to watch this pony show at the mall, and we even marked the dates of the various shows she hopes to watch.
My little pony was one of it. It’s her favorite character for now. Of course, Ayden is all right to watch it together with Adelle, as there is singing involved.
The next shows we will be following are spongebob and chuggington.
Adelle is into this character, My little pony lately.
She said she would want to have this as her birthday theme next yr.
Oh well, it’s another 8mths more, my Dear.
Anyway, I’ve got a template for the children to do art n craft with this character.
They sit down and colored carefully and got their little craft work done up.
Of course, they were very happy with what they had. 🙂
Last weekend, we brought the two children to Bishan library. They love books and even enjoyed story telling time with me. 🙂
So, my husband and myself took turns to tell the children some stories.
They pretty much love it.
Waiting to have their lunch at the library cafe.
Now, ever since the children (more for Ayden, as for Adelle since she was 2yrs plus, she already enjoyed reading)were into reading, we decided to bring the kids to have more library trips.
Basically it’s to increase their increase in reading. Why waste when they love reading?
I mean it’s a good start as personally, I don’t fancy reading books. I’m glad they do and we try to bring them to the library often. 🙂
Playdate with Ayden little friends.
Adelle could get along so well with Gwenda, Ayden classmate.
Of course, not forgetting that Ayden loves to play with this little girl, Alyssa. His favorite girl in the class..
Now the start of playdate activities. Some activities for play base learning for the children.
At the end of this playdate, children are all so tired that they slept soundly after which.
I’m glad that this happens, children are all so excited to see one another after sch holidays start.
We will be holding one in Dec again. 🙂
We had a date at Changi Airport! (just kidding)
Managed to see this cute aeroplane standing in the middle of the road, with airport staff, giving out props for passerby to take a picture with.
So we joined in the fun as well.
Some time later, when we pass by the same area, they had ended this session. (We counted ourselves lucky)
For the next two months, the theme of Changi Airport is Mickey and Minnie. Therefore this explains why we can see Mickey and Minnie Mouse display around Changi Airport.
Children are all so excited to see the display when we reach Changi Airport last weekend.
The Children did the first batch of M&M cookies the other day with me.
Mix all ingredients together.
Of course, Ayden wants a go for it. He wants to mix all ingredients together as well.
So busy, too busy working with placing these M&M on the dough.
And so, this is the end product.
It’s the start of Dec school holidays. Some day before, I’ve got the children to do a simple baking. Trying out this recipe. Which I don’t really fancy.
In the end we tried another recipe the second time (not pictured), it works! More Chewy in a way.
Nevertheless, I love to get the children to be involve in baking. This way they can learn as well.
Bento done up for the past few days for the two lovely children. 🙂
